Job Description

Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist evaluates and develops personalized treatment plans to help patients regain, develop, or maintain essential daily living and work skills. This role focuses on supporting individuals in achieving greater independence, safety, and quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and functional abilities to determine appropriate therapy goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve daily living skills.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on techniques and strategies to enhance safety and independence.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans according to clinical outcomes.
  • Comply with licensing, certification, and agency regulations to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Possess 1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working with elderly and frail populations.
  • Be currently registered with the NBCOT and licensed to practice in Colorado.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
