Job Summary:


Seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across various specialties including OB/GYN, abdominal, breast, vascular, and small parts. The role involves patient preparation, image acquisition, and ensuring quality and accuracy for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic sonography procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical history.
  
• Prepare patients for examinations by providing clear instructions and ensuring patient comfort and cooperation.
  
• Select appropriate ultrasound equipment, transducers, and settings based on targeted anatomical areas.
  
• Evaluate images for technical quality, accuracy, and proper identification for physician review.
  
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional procedures, including contrast media administration and aseptic techniques.
  
• Maintain patient safety, observe universal precautions, and document procedure details while ensuring confidentiality.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Hold an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited sonography program.
  
• Possess current OBMI and ARDMS registration as a US Sonographer.
  
• Maintain current BLS certification.
  
• Have a minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience in a clinical setting.
  
• Demonstrate knowledge of sonographic imaging, patient care, and safety protocols.
