Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive laboratory services in a critical access hospital setting, functioning as a generalist with full competency across diverse lab departments. Ensure accurate analysis and reporting of multiple specimen sources for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests and procedures using established protocols.
• Analyze specimens from various sources, ensuring proper identification and specimen integrity.
• Report test results accurately and promptly to healthcare providers.
• Maintain quality control and quality assurance standards within the laboratory.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines in all laboratory activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Demonstrate full competency across all lab departments and procedures.
• Possess strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Have prior experience working in a hospital or acute care laboratory preferred.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
