Job Summary:
Provide perioperative care as a Surgical Technician in the operating room, supporting surgical teams during various procedures. Ensure sterile environment and assist with surgical instrumentation and equipment setup.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary surgical supplies are available.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures by handling instruments and supplies.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques to prevent infection.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly to requests during operations.
• Assist with equipment like DaVinci Robotics and other specialized surgical tools, ensuring proper operation.
• Follow unit policies, including on-call responsibilities and self-scheduling protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold current surgical technician certification (NBSTA or equivalent).
• Possess a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital surgical technician experience.
• Have active DORA certification and Colorado state licensure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in procedures involving total joints, spine, transplants, and robotics.
• Prefer candidates with Meditech EMR experience and transplant or spine procedure background.
