Job Summary:
Assist in surgical procedures within a high-volume hospital setting, providing technical support to ensure efficient operation of surgical activities. The surgical technologist will work closely with surgical teams to support patient safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all sterile instruments and supplies are available and properly sterilized.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of surgical supplies and procedures in compliance with hospital policies.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical equipment, including robotic systems like DaVinci XI.
• Support neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, urology, and general surgery cases as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Surgical Technologist certification and at least 2 years of recent experience in surgical settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency with neuro, thoracic, and robotic surgical procedures.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM shifts.
• Maintain strong communication skills and attention to detail.
