Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care in the emergency department, ensuring rapid response to patient needs and adherence to relevant protocols. The role involves collaborating with medical teams to deliver high-quality, efficient emergency services.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver acute patient care in the emergency room, assessing condition and prioritizing treatment needs.
• Administer appropriate interventions, medications, and procedures in accordance with medical orders.
• Monitor patient status continuously, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Comply with hospital and departmental policies, including safety and infection control procedures.
• Maintain certifications and stay updated on emergency nursing best practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and recent (minimum 2 years) experience in emergency services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency protocols, including trauma and critical care skills.
• Possess current AHA BLS certification; PALS, NIHSS, and ACLS credentials required.
• Exhibit strong assessment and quick decision-making capabilities.
• Show effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
