Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment aligned with physician orders and patient needs. Offers support and education to patients and their families to promote recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document clinical information accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on medical procedures, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
• Recognize and respond promptly to patient deterioration or emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Medical/Surgical specialty.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
