Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses for immediate travel assignments in Medical Surgical and Trauma units. The role involves delivering attentive, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Trauma Med/Surg setting.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform basic wound care and surgical drain maintenance.
• Document patient assessments and interventions using Meditech system accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to prioritize patient needs and ensure safety.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, fostering engagement and understanding.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including float policies and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintaining surgical drains.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends on a rotating schedule.
