Job Summary:

Seeking a Surgical Process Technician to support surgical operations at a major healthcare facility. The role involves assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical tools, equipment, and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Support surgical teams by ensuring timely availability of necessary instruments.
• Follow strict infection control and safety protocols throughout procedures.
• Document and report any equipment issues or discrepancies to the surgical team.
• Maintain accurate patient and procedural records in compliance with hospital policies.
• Assist with post-operative cleanup and sterilization of surgical instruments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Valid BLS certification and a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Ohio license in hand; compact licenses accepted for starts after 1/1/23.
• Active certifications with no pending issues; ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tested during orientation.
• Must have a permanent Ohio license and at least 18 months of specialty-specific permanent experience prior to travel.
• Manager, supervisor, or physician reference from the relevant specialty required for submission.
