Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting. The nurse will deliver comprehensive patient care, monitor vital signs, and manage various clinical tasks to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Monitor telemetry data and respond promptly to abnormal rhythms or patient needs.
• Manage feeding tubes, wounds, and access ports such as PICC lines and central lines.
• Uphold infection control protocols including isolation precautions.
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and remote monitoring equipment.
• BLS, NIH, and EPIC electronic health record experience required.
• Knowledge of wound care, feeding tube management, and IV insertion.
• Ability to adhere to strict patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6.
