Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a busy hospital setting. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with potential to float across multiple units including J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in accordance with hospital policies and patient needs
• Recognize and respond to clinical emergencies, accurately assess patient conditions, and document interventions
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Adhere to hospital standards, including timely completion of assessments, documentation, and compliance requirements
• Participate in orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing
• Maintain active certifications, licenses, and compliance with facility policies

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to assignment
• Possess a valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission
• Have current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; active and valid
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments
• Be available to work at least every other holiday shift
• Provide a supervisor/reference in the specialty applying for to qualify
