Job Summary:

Seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN to provide exceptional patient care on a busy hospital unit. This role involves caring for adult patients with various medical conditions, ensuring safe and effective treatment plans are implemented.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Document patient progress accurately using electronic health record systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Hold an active Ohio or compact state RN license.
• Obtain and maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Provide at least one supervisory or managerial reference in the specialty.
• Be flexible to work every other holiday, with willingness to float to other units if needed.
