Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care on a rotating day/night schedule. The role offers potential to float to various units to meet hospital operational needs, ensuring comprehensive patient management.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care for medical-surgical and telemetry units adhering to clinical standards.
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice and facility protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Complete required assessments and certify compliance with all training and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Have a current Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand.
• Hold American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications that are active and current.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments.
• Be capable of working at least every other holiday and flexible to shift rotations.
• Provide a reference from a supervisor, manager, or director in the relevant specialty.
