Job Summary:
Provides expert nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and effective treatment through skilled clinical practices and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and vital signs to assess patient conditions.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Ohio license or valid compact state license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent acute care Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Be certified in American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS with active status.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Complete pre-hire assessments with acceptable scores within orientation.
• Submit at least one recent manager or supervisor reference in the specialty applied for.
