Job Summary:

Seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele RN for a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves providing high-quality patient care across various units, potentially floating to other units to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and coordinate comprehensive nursing care to adult patient populations in the Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Monitor patient vital signs, ECG rhythms, and respond to acute changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and state licensing requirements
• Participate in orientation assessments including rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or current Compact state license in hand
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of verified permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to assignment
• Have 18 months of recent travel or permanent experience in Med/Surg or Tele units
• Maintain active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and pass relevant assessments during orientation
