Job Summary:
Provides skilled physical therapy assistant services to patients in a home health setting under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Ensures patient progress through appropriate therapeutic interventions and maintains compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic procedures and exercises to promote patient recovery.
• Document patient progress and report changes to supervising therapist.
• Maintain proper use of equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Adhere to all home health regulations and compliance policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold active PTA license for South Carolina prior to start or be able to obtain it.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred; 1-year experience considered case by case.
• Possess recent home health or EPIC system experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrate ability to pass required Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation tests on the first attempt.
• Be willing to work Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with guaranteed hours based on signed schedule.
