Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver specialized nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while monitoring patient responses.
• Assess patient conditions regularly to identify changes and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid and active Registered Nurse license.
• Have at least 1-2 years of nursing experience in an intermediate care or stepdown setting.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Hold current CPR and ACLS certifications.
