Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical/Telehealth unit responsible for providing comprehensive patient care. The role involves remote monitoring and adaptable assignments across multiple campuses, ensuring adherence to compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient assessments and deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system to document patient information accurately.
• Monitor patients remotely, responding promptly to changes in their condition.
• Float to various Cone Health campuses as needed to ensure seamless patient care coverage.
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation to maintain compliance and professional development.
• Maintain readiness for Pass/Fail EKG exams required for all RNs, ensuring preparedness prior to submission.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license in hand in accordance with state regulations.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical/Tele health settings.
• Demonstrate experience with tele monitoring systems and EPIC electronic health records.
• Be available for night shifts (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with flexibility for floating.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• Complete a comprehensive background check with no open cases.
