Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy assistant services to support patient rehabilitation and functional improvement. Work collaboratively with licensed therapists to implement treatment plans and assist patients in achieving their therapy goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed occupational therapists in delivering therapy sessions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use.
• Monitor patient responses and progress, reporting any concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Document patient activities, progress notes, and treatment details accurately.
• Educate patients and family members on therapy exercises and home programs.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow detailed instructions.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and safe patient handling procedures.
