Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry at Wesley Medical Center. The role involves providing expert patient care during the night shift in a busy telemetry unit with advanced technology and well-trained staff.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive telemetry patient care, including monitoring signals and vital signs.
• Administer medication drips, manage central lines, and operate PCA and IV pumps.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient data accurately in the Meditech EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, utilizing critical thinking skills.
• Maintain equipment and uphold safety standards across the unit.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with a minimum of 1-year acute care hospital telemetry experience.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH Meditech experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong critical thinking skills.
• Positive attitude, engaged personality, and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with central lines and medication drips.
