Job Summary:
Responsible for performing diagnostic CT imaging and radiopharmaceutical procedures while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Provides accurate imaging and patient care according to established protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment utilizing appropriate kV and mA techniques to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform daily quality control calibration checks on imaging and radiopharmaceutical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Inject patients with radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and charge records, and report equipment issues per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct quality assurance, safety tests, and follow radiation safety guidelines to adhere to ALARA principles.
• Prepare, verify, and administer patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses prior to procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State Radiologic Technologist license (L.R.T).
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Possess at least 1 year of clinical CT experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
