Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled X-Ray Tech specializing in pediatrics to provide high-quality imaging services at a busy teaching hospital. The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures and ensuring patient safety within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to produce detailed X-ray images of pediatric patients.
• Follow protocols for patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality.
• Float to other pediatric imaging locations or facilities as needed to ensure optimal staffing coverage.
• Report to work within one hour of being called for on-call duties, adhering to shift schedules.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC charting system.
• Comply with all radiation safety regulations and ensure badges are up to date.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) certification and valid South Carolina license prior to start.
• Possess at least 1 year of X-ray experience, with pediatric imaging preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency with C-arm and OR imaging procedures.
• BLS certification required; O-arm and trauma experience are advantageous.
• Able to work 3x12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Willing to float between campuses and sister facilities as needed.
