Job Summary:
Performs routine and specialized mammography procedures to produce high-quality images for the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of breast conditions. Operates independently, applying clinical expertise and sound judgment to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging results in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Execute mammography procedures with precision, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Assess patient readiness, explain procedures, and gain cooperation to ensure a smooth imaging process.
• Monitor patient well-being during procedures, providing attentive care and effective communication.
• Maintain all documentation accurately, including charting and electronic health records.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements, privacy laws, and facility policies.
• Assist in orienting new staff and performing departmental tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA CRT license.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Minimum of 2 years of mammography experience.
• Proficiency in Epic or similar charting systems.
• Experience with specialized breast imaging procedures.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment.
