Job Summary:
Provides high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes. Works collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive nursing services.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Monitor patient vital signs and ECG rhythms, recognizing abnormal patterns promptly.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and facility policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Hold a valid Ohio license or active compact state license.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• BLS and ACLS certifications active and current without pending status.
• Demonstrate excellent cardiac monitoring skills and clinical judgment.
• Must be able to work night shifts, including every other holiday.
