Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy hospital in Bowling Green, KY. The RN will provide compassionate patient care on the orthopedics and medical-surgical units, ensuring optimal outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care for diverse adult patient populations.
• Manage a patient load with a typical ratio of 6:1, utilizing team collaboration.
• Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately in Meditech electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including float policies and unit-specific guidelines.
• Assist with bedside procedures as required, following safety protocols.
• Maintain professional standards, including dress code and certifications, throughout the shift.

Qualifications:

• State RN license with at least 2 years of recent Med Surg experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient management skills.
• Ability to work 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift, including four weekend shifts per schedule.
• Positive attitude, hard-working, adaptable to float to inpatient units, CCU, and ED as needed.
• Prior experience with Meditech or similar documentation systems preferred.
