Job Summary:
Provide specialized endoscopy and gastrointestinal nursing care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective coordination of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring all patient needs are met.
• Monitor patient vitals and sedation levels throughout procedures.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and sterile field.
• Document procedures accurately in electronic medical records, preferably Epic.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure smooth workflow and patient care continuity.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in endoscopy or GI.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Epic or similar EHR systems.
• Ability to pass lab work and background checks within specified timeframes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Must have recent work history verification covering the last 7 years.
