Job Summary:
The IR/Special Procedures Tech is responsible for supporting interventional radiology procedures and specialized diagnostics within a hospital setting. They work closely with medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care during complex procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures using advanced equipment such as Acuson Juniper and Acuson P500.
• Assist during interventional radiology procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and clinical protocols.
• Maintain documentation within the Allscripts system and ensure accuracy of patient records.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately, providing excellent patient experience and care.
• Support unit staff by ensuring proper equipment functionality and managing supplies.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) certification and NH State License.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year IR experience working in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrate advanced procedural skills relevant to interventional radiology.
• Maintain BLS certification and adhere to hospital dress code requirements.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
