Job Summary:
Provides specialized vascular imaging services to adult and geriatric patients, assisting in diagnostic procedures and ensuring accurate and timely results. Ensures patient safety, proper documentation, and adherence to clinical and sterilization standards. Collaborates closely with healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for vascular examinations and assist during procedures.
• Report clinical changes in patient condition to the RN or physician immediately.
• Contact NP, PA, or MD with STAT results or abnormal findings to facilitate prompt medical intervention.
• Document all procedures thoroughly, including labeling, identifying studies, and recording relevant information in medical records.
• Maintain equipment, report malfunctions, and replenish supplies to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Follow sterile procedures and infection prevention protocols diligently.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate expertise in cardiovascular technology (CVT) technical skills.
• Possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Vascular Technologist preferred.
• Hold graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology.
• Maintain licensure/certification such as RVT/RVS (preferred) and BLS certification.
• Able to take call as required.
