Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols. This role involves managing patient conditions, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced telemetry environment.
• Monitor, record, and interpret ECG rhythms and vital signs to identify patient needs promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments following hospital policies and physician orders.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records and report significant changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including BLS and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Ohio license or valid Compact State license with at least 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Possess active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Complete required assessments with acceptable scores during orientation.
• Provide at least one supervisor or manager reference in the specialty.
• Be willing to work night shifts, including every other holiday.
