Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the operating room team at a busy surgical facility. The ideal candidate will provide specialized perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver preoperative and postoperative patient care in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate efficient and safe surgeries, including orthopedic, eye, urology, and gynecology cases.
• Manage sterile techniques and assist in circulating and scrubbing during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals, respond to emergencies, and document clinical observations accurately.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of surgical equipment and documentation in EPIC.
• Provide patient education and support before and after procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience, particularly in orthopedic and eye surgery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC and familiarity with surgical equipment and procedures.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including weekends, call shifts, and varying shift hours.
• Have strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
