Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care to neurosurgical and medical-surgical patients in a busy hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery through competent clinical practice and adherence to facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to Neuro Med Surg patients, utilizing team nursing or similar models.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform clinical assessments in line with best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, safety policies, and facility regulations, including travel compliance and holiday coverage.
• Float between like units and campuses as needed within established guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience, with 1+ year in Neuro as preferred.
• Hold an active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR system and current certifications (BLS required).
• Be willing to work day 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).
• Meet travel compliance criteria, including mileage and RTO policies.
• Be able to work holidays as required during peak seasons.
