Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide weekend coverage in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. The RN will deliver high-quality patient care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Interpret and respond to dysrhythmias, managing complex cardiac cases.
• Utilize EPIC system for accurate documentation and charting.
• Manage various airway devices including BiPAP, CPAP, and oxygen therapy.
• Conduct patient assessments, deliver patient education, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Follow isolation procedures and PPE protocols to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NY RN license and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Have current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in MS/Tele, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management.
• Possess experience with rapid response, code teams, and blood product administration.
• Be able to manage IV starts, central lines, PICC lines, and invasive monitoring.
• Show ability to assess and treat patients with COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, chest pain, and seizure disorders.
