TactStaff EDU is connecting with passionate School Social Workers interested in opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year in Yonkers, New York and surrounding communities.

We are seeking dedicated professionals committed to supporting students’ social-emotional well-being, mental health, and overall success within the school environment. Opportunities may include placements in public schools, charter schools, and specialized education programs across the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Qualifications
Must hold or be eligible for New York State certification as a School Social Worker

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program

Valid New York State certification through the New York State Education Department

Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred

Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary school team

Experience
Experience providing social work services in a school setting

Strong knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and New York State special education compliance standards

Experience providing individual and group counseling services

Ability to support IEPs, conduct social histories, and assist with crisis intervention

Experience collaborating with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
