Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced overnight CT Technologist with X-Ray proficiency to support orthopedic imaging at a Manhattan-based hospital. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality imaging services across various patient populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics, in a low-volume, steady-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Siemens CT and X-ray equipment accurately and efficiently to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for orthopedic exams in exam rooms or via portable devices.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards, including IV certification and relevant radiologic licensure.
• Document procedures thoroughly and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging processes.
• Rotate across different departments and settings, including outpatient, inpatient, ER, and ICU as needed.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and respond effectively to requests for imaging support.

Qualifications:

• Hold current NY State license and ARRT R & ARRT CT certifications.
• Possess minimum of 2 years of imaging experience, including portable X-ray procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment and orthopedic imaging.
• Maintain active IV certification and BLS certification.
• Be able to lift, push, or move patients and equipment weighing over 150 pounds with or without assistive devices.
