Job Summary:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography procedures under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist. They ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and accurate labeling, while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Position and instruct patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner and specialized equipment accurately.
• Determine technical factors for optimal image exposure and quality.
• Label all images correctly, maintaining precise documentation.
• Perform procedures of an invasive nature when required.
• Take on-call shifts to support ongoing patient care needs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology.
• Registered with ARRT in Radiology.
• Possess knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Possess a minimum of two years of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
• Demonstrate physical ability to lift, move, and reposition patients and equipment safely.
• Exhibit strong computer skills and manual dexterity.
