Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and occasional pediatric patients in a general medical-surgical unit during night shifts. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver holistic, patient-centered treatment while maintaining compliance with all credentialing and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement nursing care for adult and pediatric patients using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform assessments with proficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to meet the diverse needs of patients.
• Document patient care accurately in compliance with hospital standards and policies.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, including mandatory flu vaccinations and certifications.
• Assist during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Vermont RN license or multi-state licensure.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech or similar electronic health records.
• Be able to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
