Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a stepdown unit, monitoring and managing their evolving clinical needs to promote recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans based on clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to doctor’s orders.
• Monitor vital signs and observe for any changes, reporting significant findings promptly.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Demonstrate at least 1-2 years of experience in a stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting.
• Possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
• Meet all clinical competencies relevant to acute care nursing.
