Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Pediatric Medical Surgical RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a pediatric inpatient unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong pediatric clinical skills, including familiarity with high flow nasal cannula, trach, G-tube, and J-tubes, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric inpatients with complex hematology and oncology needs.
• Administer treatments and medications according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, including ventilator management and feeding tube care.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of pedi inpatient nursing experience.
• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology experience preferred.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system mandatory.
• Ability to work night shifts and float to different units within the pediatric department.
