Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Supervisor/Charge Nurse to oversee Med Surg and Emergency Room departments. This working leadership role requires clinical expertise and ability to manage patient care across multiple units during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate patient care activities in Med Surg and ER settings to ensure quality and safety.
• Apply clinical skills to directly assist in patient care when necessary, functioning as a working supervisor.
• Manage staff scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow during 12-hour night shifts.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and hospital policies.
• Mentor and support nursing staff to promote best practices and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate prior experience in Med Surg and ER nursing roles.
• Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with block scheduling and night shift operations preferred.
• Training or education in OB/Newborn Stabilization is a plus.
