Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry overflow unit. The role involves transitioning to team nursing, supporting post-surgical and observation care, and requires adaptability to dynamic scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg and observation setting, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Assist in the transition to team nursing by collaborating with team members and implementing unit workflows.
• Manage patient assessments, medication administration, and documentation accurately.
• Float between units and campuses within 20 miles as needed, following assignment guidelines.
• Comply with all travel, license, and certification requirements, including vaccination and background checks.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg or Telemetry.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner or similar EHR systems.
• Be available for 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 to 19:00.
• Willing to work holidays, including some during the end-of-year holiday period.
• Meet Tier 2 travel compliance standards.
