Job Details

Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or stepdown units on a PRN basis. Assesses patient needs, administers treatments, and monitors clinical conditions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information and clinical interventions thoroughly in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrate at least one year of recent experience in a critical care, stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
