Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to inpatient telemetry patients, managing their clinical needs with a focus on high-acuity care. Capable of handling emergency department patients is preferred to ensure comprehensive patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor cardiac telemetry patients to ensure timely identification of clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments aligned with physician orders for high-acuity patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Provide patient education on condition management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state board certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry or acute care nursing experience.
• Ability to handle high patient acuity and prioritize multiple complex cases.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
