Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to hospitalized patients in a telemetry unit, ensuring patient safety and high-quality clinical outcomes. Adapt care delivery based on patient acuity and specific unit requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac telemetry data continuously to detect complications early.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient and telemetry alarms, prioritizing safety and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate experience with inpatient telemetry units and patient acuity management.
• Possess the ability to handle high-acuity cases, with experience preferred in emergency or ED settings.
• Possess strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
