Job Summary:
The Director of Rehab oversees the clinical operations of the Occupational Therapy Department, ensuring quality patient care and staff competency. This leadership role includes direct supervision of staff, program development, and compliance with regulatory standards, while maintaining a hands-on clinical presence.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and evaluate the Occupational Therapy staff, including COTAs and Technicians.
• Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures aligned with industry standards.
• Conduct patient evaluations and treatments approximately 80% of the time.
• Facilitate staff education, training, and competency assessments.
• Ensure department compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
• Contribute to program development and administrative functions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid license in California issued by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
• Graduate from an approved Occupational Therapy educational program.
• Possess all necessary certifications and qualifications per the California Therapy Board.
• Demonstrate current licensure and adherence to State Practice Act requirements.
• Preferred: Member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
