Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to inpatient rehabilitation patients, focusing on neurological and functional recovery. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical, mental, and spiritual needs to tailor care plans.
• Administer medications, excluding Heparin drips, and monitor patient response.
• Recognize and report changes in patient condition using clinical judgment.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes.
• Document care activities accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Support a positive work environment through professional communication and conflict management.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Possess CPR/BLS certification.
• Demonstrate experience in inpatient rehabilitation or neurology nursing.
• Show ability to evaluate and adapt care plans effectively.
• Be flexible to work night shifts, weekends, and occasional schedule adjustments.
