Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized care for pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients in a teaching hospital setting. The role involves night shifts, with potential holiday rotations, requiring flexibility and clinical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, assessments, and patient progress.
• Comply with all certification, licensing, and hospital policies and standards.
• Float within scope to meet the needs of various facility departments as required.

Qualifications:

• RRT certification, with NBRC or South Carolina RCP credential required.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonatal, and infant respiratory experience.
• Valid SC RRT license in hand prior to start; pending license considered with proof of application.
• BLS, PALS, and NRPC certifications mandatory.
• Epic experience preferred, with a strong understanding of pediatric respiratory care.
• Ability to work 3x12 night shifts and accommodate flexible scheduling requirements.
