TactStaff EDU is connecting with passionate Physical Therapists (PTs) interested in opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year in Detroit, Michigan and surrounding communities.

We are seeking dedicated clinicians committed to supporting students’ physical development and mobility to enhance participation in school activities. Opportunities may include placements in public schools, charter schools, and specialized education programs across the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Michigan Physical Therapist licensure

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required

• Must meet Michigan Department of Education (MDE) requirements for school-based practice if applicable

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school teams

Experience

• Experience providing physical therapy services in a school setting

• Strong knowledge of IDEA and Michigan special education compliance standards

• Experience supporting students with mobility, strength, coordination, and gross motor development

• Ability to contribute to IEP development and implement therapy goals within the school environment

• Experience collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families
