Qualifications
- Must hold or be eligible for an Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Special Education
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or related field
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona requirement)
- Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement required or willingness to obtain
- Cross-categorical, mild/moderate, or moderate/severe certifications preferred, depending on assignment
Experience
- Experience providing special education services in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IDEA and Arizona special education compliance standards
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs aligned with state standards
- Ability to differentiate instruction across academic and behavioral levels
