Position Overview
Tact Staff EDU is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support students in a collaborative educational setting. This role ensures students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing have full access to instruction, language development, and communication within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored educational services to children who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting to their unique schedules and needs.
• Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and specialists.
• Provide support and resources that facilitate language development and communication skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district policies and state regulations.
   

• Active Tennessee Department of Education certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
• Experience working with deaf and hard-of-hearing students preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
