Special Education Teacher
TACT Staff is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team! In this role, you will support students with diverse learning needs by developing and implementing individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of special education law, differentiated instruction, and classroom management strategies.
This position is a great fit for educators who are passionate about making a meaningful impact and supporting student growth academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction aligned with students’ academic and functional goals
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal special education requirements
• Support positive behavior interventions and classroom management strategies

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Teaching License or COOL
• Ability to pass all district and state background checks
• Experience working with IEPs and special education compliance preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
